Philosophy and Religious Studies

This library guide helps students and patrons find full-text resources available in Northern's Olson Library, credible websites and the Chicago Manual of Style for citations and instructions on formatting research papers.

Welcome to the Philosophy and Religious Studies LibGuide

Welcome to the students and faculty of Philosophy and Religious Studies to the LibGuide at the Lydia M. Olson Library!

This library guide covers a wide variety of full text resources for your studying and research needs. Work smarter, not harder by using this curated guide that includes only credible, reliable and accurate sources. NEVER pay for journal articles, if we don't have what you are looking for in our collections, we can interlibrary loan books, journal articles and more from other libraries. Just use the 'Get this' link in our catalog or via Melcat.org or the WorldCat link under the catalog search bar on the main library website. Reference books will help you by providing an overview of topics specific to your subject, identify the key researchers, define terms and tell you what new research is being explored. Please reach out to me, Rebecca Daly, your subject librarian, with any questions or to meet in person for assistance with research or finding a specific source. I would always rather be helping students than working in my office!
